An experienced editor based in New York City, Gabriella Georgiades has worked for Palgrave Macmillan, a leading publisher of books and journals, since 1999. She has also served the company as a development editor, with a focus on works of nonfiction. As an editor, she supports new and experienced authors developing their ideas into published works. She has helped launch many successful titles over nearly three decades in the industry. Gabriella Georgiades also has experience with title editing and acquiring books from agents. In addition to her activities as an editor, she is responsible for marketing copy, publicity, personnel management, and coordinating between offices in New York and the United Kingdom.
Gabriella Georgiades graduated from Williams College in Williamstown, Massachusetts. She is a trustee of St. Luke’s School. When she is not working, she enjoys skiing with her children, who compete for the New York Ski Educational Foundation. Her other interests include various outdoor activities, such as running, backpacking, and swimming.
